Kindergarten Information
St. Charles Catholic Elementary School offers families an opportunity to start your child's educational journey with a half-day program designed for discovery. Through meaningful play-based learning opportunities and hands-on experiences, your child will develop new understandings as well as social, emotional, and problem-solving skills, all in a welcoming Christ-centred learning environment. Our Kindergarten program is taught by a certified teacher based on Alberta’s K–6 Curriculum.
Kindergarten Programming Highlights:
- Students learn and explore ideas together in a supportive, faith-filled classroom environment
- The program is taught by a certified teacher based on Alberta’s K–6 Curriculum
- Whole class, small group, and 1-on-1 learning
- Play-based opportunities to support natural curiosity, understanding, and the development of faith.
To register for Kindergarten, your child must be five years old on or before December 31 of the school year that they will be starting Kindergarten.

Open Houses are your opportunity to visit schools, meet the staff, and explore the spaces where learning and community thrive. Tour classrooms, ask questions, and learn about the programs and opportunities available for your child.
